This rare vintage Romeo y Julieta cigar box purse is custom made from a real wooden Cuban cigar box with a solid beaded handle and metal hardware. All of the charming features of the original box are present, including the seal of the cigar maker and the Surgeon General's warning about smoking. Romeo y Julieta is one of the most famous Cuban-legacy cigar brands. Today, Romeo y Julieta cigars are handmade in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Honduras. The Robusto was a limited edition release back in 2001. This purse is in mint condition with no stains or damage. Just a place on the back of the Purse where a label was removed & residue was left behind, adding to the charm and authenticity of the design. A custom made piece that guarantees it is rare.
