This is a 2000 Mattel Singing Holiday Brandy Barbie doll.
The doll features micro braided hair and a red gown with a sheer, floral-patterned top and a fuzzy red trim.
It was released as part of the Holiday Celebration collection and is a celebrity doll modeled after singer Brandy Norwood.
The doll (product number 27779) was designed to sing when a button was pressed. She bends at the knee. Stand is included.
It uses 3 button cell batteries (357). I could not test since I didn't have that size battery. I've included details on battery equivalents. I tried the LR 44 but it did not work.Since the battery compartment is clean I believe the 357 battery is probably what it needs. See below:
