00s "COMME des GARCONS HOMME" Tanaka Homme Shuku-jyu Knit

I'm selling a variety of used and vintage items, mainly to help a cash-strapped human!

This is a piece from the early 2000s, specifically 2003, from COMME des GARCONS HOMME, during the final period of the "Tanaka Homme" era, when Keiichi Tanaka was the main designer. These are often referred to as archive pieces.

Tanaka-san left the company that year, and Junya Watanabe took over as the designer for Homme.

Aside from that, the material is their signature 100% wool, felted. Despite the tight weave, it has a fluffy feel, but the texture is a bit rough against the skin. It also features the rolled sleeves and hem that were a Tanaka Homme signature.

Tanaka-san's Homme always featured natural designs that fit into everyday life, with a playful touch. I personally feel that his true genius shines through in his tailoring and knitwear.

This knit, while not visually striking, is unmistakably "Tanaka Homme" for those who appreciate his designs. It's a piece that clearly demonstrates his consistent style and the appeal of the clothing itself.
